The Vestige Post (“we,” “us”) operates thevestigepost.com. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled.
What we collect
- Email address— when you join our mailing list or make a purchase, so we can deliver what you signed up for and send occasional updates.
- Name and mailing address— when you subscribe to the monthly letter or purchase original artwork, so we can deliver it.
- Payment information— handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
- Anonymous site analytics— we use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites.
How we use it
Only to run The Vestige Post: fulfilling subscriptions and orders, delivering digital downloads, responding to your messages, and — if you joined the list — sending occasional emails you can unsubscribe from at any time, with one click.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. It is shared only with the services that make the site work: Stripe (payments and subscription billing), Kit (our email list), Vercel (website hosting), and Sanity (content management). Each processes your data under its own privacy policy and only on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Subscriber addresses are kept while your subscription is active and removed from our mailing preparation lists after cancellation. Purchase records are retained as required for tax and accounting purposes.
Your rights
You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email thevestigepost@gmail.comand we’ll take care of it.
