The monthly subscription
Subscriptions are billed through Stripe on the plan you choose — monthly, six-month, or annual. Letters go to post on the 10th of each month; if you subscribe after the 10th, your first letter arrives with the following month’s mailing. Letters are sent by USPS letter mail without tracking, and shipping is included in every plan.
You can cancel any time through the Subscriber Portal. Cancelling stops future billing; you’ll still receive any mailing already paid for. To change your mailing address, email us before the 8th of the month.
Refunds
- Subscriptions— if a mailing hasn’t gone out yet, we can refund it; once it has been posted, we can’t recall it, but if it never arrives, write to us and we’ll make it right.
- Digital downloads— because files are delivered instantly, download purchases are generally non-refundable. If a file is faulty or you have any trouble at all, contact us and we’ll fix it or refund it.
- Original artwork— if a piece arrives damaged, contact us within 14 days with a photo and we’ll arrange a replacement where possible or a full refund.
Digital downloads & delivery
After purchase you’ll receive a download link that remains valid for 7 days. If your link expires or a download fails, email us and we’ll send a fresh one — your purchase never expires.
Usage license
Every digital collection includes the same license:
- Personal use— print and use freely in your own junk journals, scrapbooks, correspondence, gifts, and creative projects.
- Limited handmade commercial use— you may sell physical, handmade items (such as finished journals or cards) that incorporate printed pieces from a collection.
- Not permitted— reselling, sharing, or redistributing the digital files themselves, in whole or in part, or using them in digital products, print-on-demand catalogs, or AI training.
