Welcome to The Vestige Post
Some things are worth slowing down for. This is why I started The Vestige Post — and what I hope it brings to your door each month.

Why The Vestige Post was created.
A monthly letter subscription for those who miss something real
There was a time when opening the mailbox felt like something.
Not every day, and not always—but often enough to remember it.
A letter. A card. Something chosen, sent, and held. Something meant for you.
I think many of us remember that feeling, even if only faintly now. There was a quiet anticipation in it. A reason to check the mail—not out of habit, but out of hope—because sometimes, there would be something personal waiting inside.
Somewhere along the way, that changed.
Messages became faster. Easier. Constant. And in many ways, that’s a gift. But something else happened too—something quieter. The meaning began to thin. Words became more immediate, but less lasting. We read them quickly, and just as quickly, they disappeared.
I have a friend who still writes letters. Real ones. Thoughtful, intentional letters sent through the mail. And every time one arrives, it stands apart from everything else. I don’t open it quickly. I don’t skim it. I sit with it.
There’s a different kind of presence in it.
Something that asks to be held a little longer.
That feeling stayed with me.
The idea that something slower—something more tangible—still matters. That not everything meaningful needs to be instant. That there is still space for things we can hold onto, return to, and keep.
That’s where The Vestige Post began.
Not as a reaction to the modern world, but as a quiet offering within it. A monthly letter subscription designed to bring back the simple, meaningful experience of receiving real mail.
Each month, an envelope arrives. Inside, a thoughtfully curated collection of paper goods and printed correspondence gathered around a single theme—a letter, a postcard, paper ephemera, and small tactile details meant to be held and revisited.
Included in each delivery is a featured artist postcard, showcasing original artwork that reflects the theme of the month. Alongside it, you’ll find a deeper look into the artist’s work and story on our website—creating a connection that extends beyond the page.
Not everything has to be kept. But some things are worth it.
This is for those moments.
Maybe you’ve felt it too—
the sense that something quieter still matters.
And if you have,
you’re already part of it.
